Sighting and Location Data
ParaSight may collect and store information related to the sightings you submit and browse, including:

- The location attached to a sighting, which you choose when you submit it

- Comments, reactions, and reports you file on other users' content
- Your device location, if you grant permission, to centre the map near you
- Search terms you enter
Location Data
ParaSightmay ask for access to your device's location. We use it in two ways:
- To show you what is nearby. Your device location centres the map. It stays on your device and we do not store it on our servers.
- To place a report you submit. We store the location you attach to a sighting alongside that sighting, and other users can see it.
Important: location attached to a published sighting is public. Do not attach a location you would not want others to visit, and never one that identifies where you or someone else lives. You can refuse or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings and still use the rest of the app.
How We Use Your Information
Sapid Labs uses the collected data for various purposes:
- To provide and maintain our Service
- To notify you about changes to our Service
- To provide customer support
- To gather analysis or valuable information to improve our Service
- To monitor usage of our Service
- To detect, prevent and address technical issues
- To place your sightings on the shared map and show them to other users
- To show you sightings reported near you
- To review reported content and enforce our content rules

We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your location and sighting data is particularly sensitive, and we treat it with the highest level of protection.

Services We Rely On
Our app uses third-party services to run features, measure usage, and report crashes. Some of them collect information that can identify you. These services include:

- Firebase Crashlytics
- Google Maps, to draw the map and place sightings on it
- Amplitude, for product analytics
- Sentry, for crash reporting

Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
